Moving Beyond Your Comfort Zone

Print out this page and work through the questions below writing down your answers.

  1. What do you want to do? What things do you regularly speak about, challenges you want to undertake but about which so far you have taken no action?
  2. What is holding you back?

The things that are holding you back are your comfort zones, for example, you may want to start a new career but feel a sense of fear about trying something new.

OR

You may want to build a better social life but just don’t seem to get round to getting out and about to new events, groups or social activities.

Select a comfort zone that you are ready to challenge?

  1. How does this hold you back?
  2. What are your fears?
  3. How do you know you are ready to make a change?
  4. Clearly list in the space below the actions you are going to take to expand your comfort zones?
  5. What are you going to do differently in the next 7 days?
  6. Who are you going to tell about your plans?

Research has shown that we are much more likely to carry out our intended actions if we have shared our intentions/plans with someone else.

If you’d like, you can email your action plan ideas to me: ken (at) ClarityMind.com and I will hold you accountable by checking in after 7 days to find out what progress you have made.
